Rookseat B&B is within easy reach of the historic city of Salisbury with its world famous Cathedral, the sandy beaches of Bournemouth and the West Quay shopping centre in Southampton.
To the south, the New Forest National Park with its open rolling heathland, wild ponies and ancient forest is great for walking, riding, cycling and fishing.  
The National Motor Museum in Beaulieu is well worth a day out. On the Beaulieu River is Bucklers Hard and museum, where many of Admiral Nelsons war ships were built.
To the north, the prehistoric Stonehenge is easily accessible. 

The village of Redlynch and other local villages provide a variety of pubs and restaurants serving good lunchtime and evening meals. 
There are two golf courses within close proximity to our B&B. We have ample secure storage for bicycles or other activity equipment.
